Born and raised in Amherst County, Virginia, Witt describes herself as a country girl who values family, faith, education, justice, and community building. On a personal level, she is a businessperson, community servant, mother, and grandmother.
Highly experienced, Witt had a 32-year career with global energy leader Framatome (formerly AREVA). She is proficient at influencing and driving results in multicultural environments. She started her career as a secretary in Procurement and retired as the North American Director of People Development. Paul Riley is currently an Intelligence Solutions Lead with a defense contractor and lives in Crozet, Virginia.
He was born in Norwich, New York, where he lived most of his childhood before his family moved to Florida. He worked his way through and graduated from Florida State University in 1989. Riley served in the United States Army in the military intelligence field both as an enlisted soldier and as an officer from 1989 until his retirement in 2010. He has been married to his wife, Jani, for 32 years, and has three children: McKenna, Nathaniel, and Keegan. He is an avid outdoor enthusiast and enjoys traveling, hiking, fishing, and hunting. Gary is a 1982 graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. He has served his country as a military officer, worked as a corporate executive, been an innovative businessman-entrepreneur, an Executive Director for the YMCA and CEO for the Boys and Girls Clubs.
Gary grew up in the small town of Henderson, Kentucky where he lived with his parents and four siblings in a housing project in his early childhood. After excelling as a top academic achiever and outstanding athlete in high school, Gary received an appointment to West Point where he graduated with a degree in Engineering. Gary lives in Danville Virginia. He is a Mason, a member of Rotary, Kiwanis and is 2nd Vice President for the Lion’s Club. He has three sons and one granddaughter.
